ABOUT THE TEACHER
PROFESSIONAL BIO
Mr. Jeff is an experienced and passionate music educator with over two decades of teaching in both public and academic settings. Since 2004, he has served as the Elementary Music Teacher at El Sol Science and Arts Academy in Santa Ana, California, where he leads a dynamic music program focused on creativity, collaboration, and community engagement. He has successfully managed departmental budgets, built partnerships with local organizations, and coordinated interdisciplinary projects that enrich students’ learning experiences.
Before his current role, Mr. Jeff taught music to students of all ages, providing individualized instruction in piano, guitar, violin, drums, and voice. He developed comprehensive curricula, led school ensembles, and prepared students for recitals, competitions, and auditions. His early career included teaching kindergarten in Baltimore City Public Schools, where he implemented engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and fostered a nurturing classroom environment.
Mr. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Towson University and a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix. He is recognized for his strengths in lesson planning, classroom management, curriculum development, and working with diverse learners. His dedication to student growth and love of music continue to inspire the next generation of musicians and learners.
