Music Production Lessons

Turn your ideas into music.

Music production gives students the opportunity to create, record and shape their own music while learning the skills behind the songs they love. From building a beat to arranging a complete track, students learn how rhythm, melody, sound and technology come together to create music.

Whether you're completely new to production or already making music of your own, lessons provide a creative and practical way to develop your skills. Students learn to work with digital audio, MIDI, samples and virtual instruments while developing their ear and discovering their own sound.

Music Production Lessons for Kids and Adults

WePlay Music offers individual music production lessons for students ages 8 and up, including adults, from complete beginners to advanced producers. Our highly qualified teachers work with students in Logic Pro and adapt each lesson to their experience, interests and goals.

Students learn the fundamentals of music production, including MIDI, beat making, drum programming, sampling, recording, audio editing and basic mixing with EQ. As their skills develop, they become more confident navigating their DAW, working with different sounds and turning musical ideas into complete tracks.

Lessons are practical and creative from the beginning. Students can learn by recreating a beat or song they love before moving on to developing their own ideas and original music. Over time, they build a stronger understanding of arrangement, sound and rhythm while developing their own creative style.

Every student progresses at their own pace, with lessons designed to help them become more confident, independent and creative producers.
