ABOUT THE TEACHER

PROFESSIONAL BIO

Ms. Rosie is a passionate and experienced music teacher based in Newport Beach, CA, currently teaching at WePlay Music. With over ten years of experience, she offers individualized voice, piano, and guitar lessons to students of all ages. Her teaching approach combines technical skill-building with creativity, focusing on vocal technique, ear training, improvisation, music theory, and performance. Known for her patient and encouraging style, she helps students gain confidence while preparing for concerts, competitions, and personal musical goals.

Outside the classroom, Ms. Rosie is an accomplished composer, songwriter, and creative director. She leads BALALAR, an original children’s animation project in the Bashkort language that uses music to make language learning fun and engaging. She has also performed in a variety of music projects, including “Ruzilya & Other Yummy Treats” and the rock band “Jasmine Trace,” contributing as a vocalist, songwriter, and producer. Her background includes voice-over work for animated content and studio production, making her a well-rounded artist and educator.

Fluent in English, Bashkort, and Russian, Ms. Rosie brings a global and inclusive perspective to her work. She is skilled in music and audio production tools such as Logic Pro and Pro Tools, and she enjoys exploring creative projects that connect music, language, and education. When she’s not teaching or producing music, she spends her time hiking, traveling, staying active, and enjoying the journey of personal growth and parenting.
