ABOUT THE TEACHER
PROFESSIONAL BIO
Ms. Anastasiia is a passionate and experienced woodwind teacher specializing in saxophone, flute, oboe, and clarinet. With over 15 years of teaching and performance experience, she is dedicated to helping students develop their musical skills while fostering a lifelong love for music.
Originally from Russia, Ms. Anastasiia earned her Master’s degree in Woodwind Instruments from Moscow State Art and Cultural University and her Bachelor’s degree from Bryansk Region Music College. She has taught at prestigious music institutions, including Moscow Music College and various public schools, where she guided students of all ages in instrumental instruction, ensemble performance, and competition preparation.
Beyond teaching, Ms. Anastasiia has an extensive background as a professional oboe player, having served as Principal Oboe in the Moscow Region Wind Orchestra. Her experience as both an educator and performer allows her to bring a well-rounded and engaging approach to her lessons.
Ms. Anastasiia believes in creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where students can explore their musical potential. She emphasizes not just technical proficiency but also the emotional and cultural significance of music, encouraging students to express themselves through their instruments.
